Non-stick coating, corrosion or wear protection coatings: The range of technical functions in surface coating is extremely diverse. In addition, existing and new customers repeatedly approach us with special requests. When working together to develop the specifications, it becomes apparent, for example, that the surface of a component should fulfill various functionalities. In these cases, our laboratory team supports you every step of the way: from consulting and sampling to development and the introduction of production-ready and, if necessary, validated manufacturing processes. We pay attention to energy consumption and environmental compatibility at every step of the process. This also includes thoroughly testing the raw material for its suitability for the coating process.

An example of the requirements for coatings in medical technology

It is not enough to simply electrically insulate an instrument used multiple times in high-frequency surgery in the intended areas. Rather, we must match the thermal and chemical resistance of the insulation coating to the corresponding sterilization process, comply with permissible layer thickness tolerances and coating zones, and fulfill your wishes in terms of feel and appearance (color, labeling, etc.).

Individual coating and sampling

Another strength of the Adelhelm Group is individual coating. We are happy to coat individual parts or sample parts for you.

We can also produce sample sheets on request. Sample sheets are demonstration materials for the individual coatings. This allows you to easily test our coatings, carry out analyses in the laboratory, or test the advantages of a coating with a prototype.
